Today, we are pleased to release XenForo 1.5.16. This release fixes a number of bugs and issues that were found since the previous release. As this is a maintenance release, the vast majority of the focus was an increase in stability. Some of the changes in this release include: Automatically replace ReCAPTCHA v1 with ReCAPTCHA v2 (NoCaptcha). ReCAPTCHA v1 will be retired in 2018 and will no longer function. Use an alternative approach for sitemap XML URLs due to changes in Google that prevented the old query string approach from being indexed as expected. XenForo Media Gallery 1.1.15 is a maintenance release for our media gallery add-on. We recommend all customers running XenForo Media Gallery to upgrade to this release to benefit from increased stability. This release fixes several issues: Use the correct permission with regards to reporting media related content. Reference the correct user in album watch emails. Skip rebuilding watermark on images which might not exist. Prevent duplicate share alerts when albums are shared with followers. XenForo Enhanced Search 1.1.8 is a maintenance release for our search add-on. This release resolves compatibility issues with Elasticsearch 6. If you are using or plan to use to Elasticsearch 6, you must use this version of XenForo Enhanced Search or a newer version. Elasticsearch 6 significantly changes how data is indexed compared to previous versions. Indexes upgraded from Elasticsearch 5 to 6 will maintain backwards compatibility with the previous index structure, but any indexes created in Elasticsearch 6 can only be accessed using the new "single type" approach. After a number of beta releases, the functionality of the product should be complete and the rate of bugs being reported (should) slow to a trickle, allowing the development team to work through the backlog and reduce the number of bugs to a handful. We have now reached this point in the development of XenForo 2.0, so the time is right to produce a release candidate. This means that the software is proposed as stable, and a period of time is allowed to verify the proposal. If no major bugs are found during that period, the software will be released as 2.0.0. We are happy to announce that the 2.0.0 Beta 8 releases of XenForo and our official add-ons are now available to all customers with active licenses. This release continues to focus on bug fixes and other small improvements. If all goes well with this release, we anticipate that the next release will be considered a release candidate (the final step before a stable/supported release). Once again, please pay attention to the following warnings: XenForo 2.0 is a significant upgrade from 1.x. Add-ons and customizations made for XenForo 1.x will not be compatible.
