Steam ประกาศรายชื่อเกมทำรายได้สูงสุดของปี 2023 (อันดับของปี 2022) กลุ่มท็อปหรือเรียกว่า Platinum มีด้วยกัน 11 เกม เรียงตามตัวอักษรคือ

• Apex Legends
• Baldur's Gate III
• Call of Duty (นับรวม MW2, MW3, Warzone)
• Counter-Strike 2
• Cyberpunk 2077
• Destiny 2
• Dota 2
• Hogwarts Legacy
• PUBG: Battlegrounds
• Sons of the Forest
• Starfield

หากเทียบกับอันดับของปี 2022 จะเห็นว่าเกมยอดนิยมตลอดกาลอย่าง Apex Legends, CS2/CSGO, Dota 2, Destiny 2, PUBG ยังติดอันดับเหมือนเดิม รวมถึง Call of Duty ที่แต่ละภาคมักติดอันดับเป็นประจำอยู่แล้ว

ส่วนเกมใหม่ของปี 2023 ที่เข้ามาติดอันดับ มีทั้ง Baldur's Gate III ที่กวาดรางวัลมากมาย, Hogwarts Legacy ที่มีกระแสนิยมมาตั้งแต่ต้นปี, Cyberpunk 2077 ที่กลับมาฮิตอีกครั้งกับภาคเสริม Phantom Liberty, Starfield ที่สร้างกระแสไฮป์ไว้เยอะ และที่เซอร์ไพร์สกว่าใครเพื่อนคือ Sons of the Forest เกมเอาตัวรอดในป่าซอมบี้กินคน ที่ได้รับความนิยมในวงการมาสักระยะหนึ่งแล้ว

เกมที่มีจำนวนผู้เล่นพร้อมกัน (peak players) สูงสุดเกิน 300,000 คน (ปีที่แล้วตั้งเกณฑ์ที่ 240,000 คน) ได้แก่
