ข่าว Vbulletin 5.0.5 Is Now Available For Download.

We're proud to release vBulletin Connect 5.0.5. vBulletin Connect 5.0.5 resolves 197 issues with the software. This includes new features, feature parity with 4.x and bug issues. These issues cover a wide range of components including performance, security, Admin Control Panel fixes, enhancements for the Mobile Suite and more.

New Features in vBulletin 5.0.5

• fastDS (selected APC caching which works in multi-server environments) - FastDS allows you to store the Datastore, Templates and Phrases in APC's memory. This enables super-fast retrieval. You can configure this in your /core/includes/config.php file.
• Infraction notifications will be sent to the user's email if they cannot be sent to their private messages.

vBulletin 5.0.5 Feature Parity

• Hover thread preview - Hovering over the thread preview on a forum page will give you an AJAX preview of the thread.
• Added last post link - Image Link in the Last Post Info data of Topic View on the forum page. This will take you to the last post of the thread.
• Incoming RSS - You can now import RSS feeds into your site to build content. This works the same as in vBulletin 4.X.
• Thread views - Thread views now show in the statistics column of your Topic View. Thread Views start when you upgrade to vBulletin 5.0.5

Installs and Upgrades

• New installs will no longer request the Cookie Path and Cookie Domain values to be set. We've found these variables to be confusing and when improperly set they can lock you out of the Admin CP. If needed, you can still set these within the Admin CP under Settings -> Options -> Cookie and HTTP Header Options.
• The vb5readme.html has been updated with new instructions for handling the install folder after upgrades.
• An issue was discovered that would expose a hash of your Customer ID in the source code of your install and upgrade scripts. This has been resolved. For security, you should still delete the install directory after upgrades.
