vBulletin 5.5.0 Alpha 2 Changes and Updates We're proud to begin the new year with a new version of vBulletin. These changes will apply to both vBulletin Connect and vBulletin Cloud unless otherwise noted. Pre-Release Builds are not recommended for production environments. Typography Changes We have made several changes to how Typography or Fonts work within vBulletin to resolve several different issues that continually occur over time. These issues include display issues with scaling, the ability to support relative font sizes, and inheritance of font sizes. vBulletin 5.4.5 Connect is now available to all customers. Phrase System Updates We have added a variety of shortcodes to the phrasing system. These allow you to insert additional information into all phrases as a means to further customize your site. To use the shortcodes, simply insert them into your phrase translation where you want their information to appear. vBulletin 5.4.4 Connect is now available for download by licensed customers. Setting your Home Page When saving a page in Site Builder, you can now set it as your site's homepage. This will allow more customization without the utilization of complex workarounds and/or database edits. To change your homepage, simply edit the page in Site Builder. Click on Save Page and select the "Make this page your homepage" checkbox. Note: There is currently an issue with setting a Topic page as your site homepage. We are working to resolve this.
